智通财经APP获悉，高盛发布研报称，已将9月FOMC会议加息25个基点纳入基本情景。该行表示，虽然8月消费者物价指数(CPI)对其通胀观点影响有限，但推高市场对加息预期概率至接近90%，促使美联储倾向加息以避免市场剧烈反应。不过，高盛认为，目前并无充分经济理由支持上调利率。该行指出，所有超过2%通胀目标的增幅均可归因于预计将消退的一次性因素，核心PCE通胀在过去三个月放缓至约2.5%已属早期迹象。
高盛预计，美联储声明中仅会作必要的最少修订，可能会提及加息以推动通胀重回2%目标，但会避免就未来利率路径或进一步加息条件提供前瞻指引。对于2027年的利率走势，高盛维持减息两次的预测，但将时间点由原先的6月及12月调整为9月及12月，并将最终利率预测由3%-3.25%上调至3.25%-3.5%。
