Jiangsu Dingsheng New Materials (SHA:603876) agreed to terminate plans to sell its 0.57% interest in Sanmenxia Aluminum, according to a Wednesday disclosure on the Shanghai bourse.
Jiaozuo Wanfang Aluminum Manufacturing was supposed to buy the stake, but decided to withdraw due to significant changes in the current market environment.
The Chinese aluminum manufacturer's shares fell 2% during the afternoon trade.
