美国海岸警卫队周二晚间证实，美军人员与联邦调查局探员登上一艘驶往得克萨斯州的油轮，调查一起网络攻击事件。
海岸警卫队发言人在回应媒体问询时称，有迹象显示这艘外籍船舶的网络系统遭到境外网络势力入侵，相关人员于 8 月 21 日登船开展调查。
船舶追踪数据显示，这艘名为 “VL Prosperity” 的超大型原油轮（VLCC）目前停靠在得克萨斯州沿海城镇加尔维斯顿附近。
海岸警卫队表示，油轮船长、船员以及岸上工作人员均配合调查，事件未造成运营中断或人员受伤。
该机构称：“海岸警卫队正积极与港口运营方、船东及当地海事相关方沟通，确保港口作业安全不间断运行。”
伊朗半官方媒体迈赫尔通讯社 8 月下旬报道称，“VL Prosperity” 号在直布罗陀海峡遭遇网络攻击后，通信中断长达 30 小时。
