Synertec (ASX:SOP) said its AU$45.5 million engineering services contract is with the Australian Nuclear Science and Technology Organisation (Ansto), with the contract spanning about eight years and representing 2.4 times Synertec Engineering's external revenue in fiscal 2026, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.

The company said about AU$36 million of revenue is expected to be recognized during the initial 26-month design phase commencing Sept. 21, with project contribution margin expected to exceed 25% and gross margin on labour at the top end of its target range.

The project is expected to remain cumulatively cash-flow positive for more than 90% of its term based on the contracted payment profile and current delivery plan, with minimal working capital required that can be serviced from existing debt facility headroom and the recent equity raise, it added.

The company's shares rose past 1% in recent Monday trade.
