Tianjin Tianbao Energy (HKG:1671) said its membrane-type deaerator energy-saving retrofit project commenced operation on Monday.
The project replaces conventional thermal deaerators at subsidiary Tianjin Tianbao Lingang Thermal Power to reduce steam losses and internal steam consumption, according to a Tuesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
The project is also expected to lower exhaust gas temperatures and increase steam supply capacity.
