伦敦上市的工业与能源企业Metlen Energy & Metals于9月14日宣布，已与马来西亚国家石油公司（Petronas）签署长期液化天然气进口与供应协议。根据协议，马来西亚国家石油公司旗下英国子公司Petco Trading将自2027年起，每年向希腊交付六船液化天然气，年供应量约6亿立方米，协议期限五年。
Metlen表示，此次合作开辟了替代性、稳定的长期天然气来源，将增强希腊供应安全，满足公司内部能源需求，并有助于应对欧洲更广泛天然气需求，在当前地区能源形势持续不确定背景下具有重要意义。
