路透9月14日 - 中国电动汽车制造商比亚迪002594.SZ计划明年在欧洲推出其首款重型卡车，并最终在欧洲本地生产卡车。该公司一名高管周一在汉诺威举行的IAA商用车展上表示。
“从长远来看，我们将在欧洲本地生产所有在当地销售的产品，”比亚迪执行副总裁兼国际业务负责人李柯(Stella Li)表示。
她补充说，公司希望为车队运营商提供一整套服务，包括融资、太阳能供电的充电基础设施，以及配有流动道路救援服务的维修网点网络。
在欧洲本地生产还将帮助比亚迪避免卡车进口关税。包括Traton8TRA.DE旗下MAN品牌在内的欧洲制造商已呼吁欧盟对中国电动卡车征收关税，类似于目前对中国电动汽车征收的关税。
“我们不喜欢这种关税，因为它对任何一方都没有好处，但我们不得不应对，”李柯说。她表示，在本地生产扩大规模前，关税带来的压力只是短期的。
比亚迪还准备扩大其在欧洲的乘用车生产布局。该公司正在匈牙利塞格德建设一家工厂，预计明年开始量产。
“一旦所有产品都转为本地生产，就不会有问题了。我们将成为一家欧洲公司，”李柯说。
