ChainCatcher 消息，Zcash 持有者以压倒性多数投票支持加快交易速度并保留比特币式减半机制。此次治理投票针对 Zcash 下一项重大网络升级 NU7，近 240 万枚 ZEC 参与投票，约占快照时约 360 万枚合格 ZEC 的三分之二，结果按 ZEC 权重计算，每枚合格 ZEC 代表一票。
其中 99.9% 的参与 ZEC 支持将区块时间从 75 秒缩短至 25 秒，98.9% 支持保留比特币式减半机制，96.6% 支持将网络可持续机制（NSM）收取费用的再发行推迟至 2031 年 2 月，另有 99.3% 支持尽快上线 NU7，并在 9 月 30 日就绪期限前放弃任何未实现的功能。
本次投票仅限持有 Zcash 最新隐私交易池 Ironwood 中 ZEC 的持有者参与，选票经加密并拆分为 16 份后统计，验证者无法还原具体持有者的投票与余额。此前 2 月的 NU7 情绪调查仅吸引流通 ZEC 的 7.25% 参与。投票结果本身不会直接改变网络，相关功能仍需实现、测试并纳入最终升级。
