近日，茂名市生态环境局披露了茂名创能烯碳科技有限公司年产5万吨液晶高碳材料及年产2000吨/年钠电池负极材料、2000吨/年锂电池负极材料、1000吨/年超级微孔碳项目环境影响报告书的批复审批后公示。
项目位于茂名市高州市金山街道金辉大道中段（广东高州金山经济开发区项目），计划对原茂名市创能燃料化工有限公司油品储存罐区进行拆除，并在拆除区域及预留空地上新建生产车间，利用乙烯焦油、催化油浆、中温沥青为原料进行深加工，年产液晶高碳材料5万吨、锂电池负极材料2000吨、钠电池负极材料2000吨、超级微孔碳1000吨。
