消息面上，香港特区行政长官李家超今日（16日）公布《香港特别行政区经济和社会发展第一个五年规划（2026—2030年）》（《香港第一个五年规划》）。李家超表示，便利跨境车辆往来，推进跨境自动驾驶发展。继续优化便利跨境车辆往来的措施（包括“港车北上”及“粤车南下”）、推动充电基础设施互联互通，更有效回应与日俱增的跨境出行及通勤需求。主动规划并落实具战略意义的跨境自动驾驶示范项目，推动其规模化和商业化发展。
