Teva Pharmaceutical Begins Direct Trading of Shares on NYSE

Teva Pharmaceutical Industries (TEVA) ordinary shares began trading directly on the New York Stock Exchange, completing its transition from its American depositary shares program, the drugmaker said Monday.

The company said the shares will continue to trade under the ticker "TEVA" on both the NYSE and Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.

Teva said the direct listing is expected to expand investor access and strengthen its position in US capital markets.
