Minebea Mitsumi (TYO:6479) is putting acquisitions on hold as it focuses on rising demand for components used in AI servers and humanoid robots, Bloomberg News reported, citing an interview with Chairman Yoshihisa Kainuma.

The Japanese parts maker is seeing strong orders for ball bearings, motors and actuators, including components used in AI server cooling systems and humanoid joints, according to the report.

Kainuma said the company is too busy meeting current demand to divert management resources toward acquisitions, Bloomberg added.
