Alphabet's (GOOGL, GOOG) Google is exploring a new data center project in Lea County, New Mexico, and plans to begin conversations with the community, the tech giant said Monday.
The company said many project details remain outstanding, but committed to paying for 100% of the energy and infrastructure it uses and to managing water resources responsibly if the project proceeds.
