消息面上，9月14日，博泰车联发布公告，公司收到某国内头部高端新能源汽车OEM的正式项目定点通知，首次获选为该客户旗舰品牌下新一代海外车型的供应商，负责基于高通8397新一代高性能座舱芯片平台的高端智能座舱域控制器及AI交互系统的研发与量产交付。
公告显示，高通8397为高通骁龙第五代智能座舱芯片平台，可有力支撑端侧AI算力、多模态交互、多屏联动等智能化能力。本次定点覆盖该客户海外产品矩阵之首批车型，该客户同平台下后续系列车型亦均将基于该芯片平台。项目出海范围涵盖欧洲、中南美及加拿大、中东、亚太、中亚、非洲、大洋洲等全球主要区域。
