China's Outstanding Yuan Loan Growth Slows to 4.9% in August

China's outstanding yuan loans grew 4.9% year over year to 282.35 trillion yuan as of the end of August, according to data from the People's Bank of China (PBOC) on Monday.

The growth rate slowed from the 5.1% expansion in July, marking a record low, and fell short of the 5.1% increase forecast by Investing.com.
