ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 报道，前推特联合创始人杰克·多西（Jack Dorsey）在加图研究所（Cato Institute）发表讲话，反对暂停前沿 AI 模型开发，认为此类呼吁保护的是大型科技公司的商业优势，而非公众安全。多西表示，他反对由行业领导者协商达成的全行业限制，因为这可能将能够揭露模型缺陷或构建替代方案的人排除在外，"保护一家公司的商业优势并不是一个安全目标"。
多西支持开源 AI 模型，希望更多人能够共同审查、使用和改进模型，并让独立研究人员能够核实巨头的工作，让普通人真正掌控手中的工具。他认为，任何希望限制技术公开发布的人都必须提供有说服力的理由，而在"为了安全"的旗帜下，有时最终会演变成限制他人进入的行业壁垒。
多西还回应了 Anthropic 提出的"放缓 AI 开发"建议。该提案试图将独立评估和危险审查与训练算力、训练频率及"用 AI 构建更好的 AI"的限制挂钩。多西表示支持审查，但反对以此为由限制开源模型的发布。
