Fujifilm Partners With Tata Electronics to Develop India's Semiconductor Materials Industry

Fujifilm Corp. and Tata Electronics have reached a memorandum of understanding to develop India's semiconductor materials ecosystem, according to a Thursday release.
Under the collaboration, Fujifilm will develop and supply advanced semiconductor materials for Tata Electronics' upcoming semiconductor fab in Dholera, Gujarat.
Fujifilm will also invest about 800 crores to build a semiconductor materials plant in the Dholera special investment region in phases.
The partnership will focus on improving supply chain resilience through localization of critical raw materials and aiding Indian chemical manufacturers.
Fujifilm Corp. is a subsidiary of Fujifilm Holdings (TYO:4901).
