蓝鲸新闻9月20日讯（记者 陈晓娟）今日，人社部网站发布国务院任免国家工作人员信息，其中，任命蔡东为金融监管总局副局长。
目前，金融监管总局官网已更新，蔡东为党委委员、副局长。

公开简历显示，蔡东生于1968年10月，山东济南人，财政部财政科学研究所经济学博士，高级会计师。
蔡东履历背景复合多元，曾在山东师范大学工作，后进入银行业，曾任中国工商银行会计结算部副总经理，结算与现金管理部副总经理，电子银行部副总经理、总经理，天津市分行行长。
2016年7月，蔡东出任国家开发银行副行长；2019年5月，任农业银行副行长。
2019年10月，蔡东出任吉林省副省长，后任常务副省长、省政府党组副书记。
