美国电商巨头亚马逊表示，为迎接关键的假日购物季，将把美国核心业务全职员工的最低起薪提高至每小时20美元。
该公司周三表示，这些从事打包和发货等工作的员工每小时薪资将增加1美元，平均时薪将达到近24美元。该公司还称，包括福利待遇在内，员工的平均薪酬总额将超过每小时32美元。
此次薪资上调自9月27日起生效。
亚马逊周三还表示，员工将获得新福利，包括在Amazon.com和全食超市的在线平台上购买符合条件的新鲜食品和日常必需品可享受10%的折扣，以及在全食超市实体门店购物时享受20%的折扣。该零售商称，这些折扣可与现有的Prime会员优惠叠加使用。
该公司表示，该折扣将于10月1日起面向美国所有亚马逊员工开放。
亚马逊还表示，将向符合条件的员工及其家属开放加入First Tech联邦信用合作社的资格，该合作社可提供终身低收费的银行服务。员工可开设无透支、免月费的账户。该公司称，开设支票和储蓄账户无需信用记录。
此次推广将于今年晚些时候启动。
