美国司法部一名反垄断官员周四表示，在安全问题上的协调并不构成反竞争行为。围绕竞争对手合作以防止尖端人工智能（AI）对人类构成威胁的问题，业界正展开一场法律辩论。
美国司法部反垄断局负责人Stanley Woodward在纽约福特汉姆大学表示，司法部正在审议是否更新现行指导方针，以允许企业在网络安全方面进行协调。
“在我看来，就网络安全或其他安全问题进行协调并不构成反竞争行为，”他说。
Woodward补充道，反垄断局愿意与企业会谈，但前沿AI实验室尚未就反垄断问题提出会谈请求。
欧盟反垄断执行副主席里贝拉（Teresa Ribera）也在该活动上发言，呼吁监管机构之间以及监管机构与企业之间加强协调。
“这是一个典型的博弈论问题：当风险由各方共担时，合作符合所有人的利益，”她表示。
