特朗普周三在社交媒体发帖称，美国利率“应该在1%，或者更低”，因为“我们的国家正在新投资推动下蓬勃发展”，并拥有“全球最佳信用”。
“降低美国的利率，要快！”他写道。
联邦公开市场委员会（FOMC）周三一致投票决定，将联邦基金利率目标区间上调至3.75%-4%。这一决定可能令特朗普与他亲自挑选的美联储主席凯文·沃什之间的关系承压。
尽管特朗普的帖文没有点名沃什，但这番激烈措辞加大了这位美联储主席面临的压力。今年早些时候沃什宣誓就职时，特朗普曾鼓励他保持“完全独立”。
