当被问及人工智能研发是否需要减速时，英伟达创始人兼首席执行官黄仁勋在接受采访时称：“我们应当尽最大可能提速，不必顾及其他人的看法。
黄仁勋表示：“我们会全速推进，但我们绝不会、也绝不应该在产品尚未成熟时就发布，推出存在安全隐患的产品。没有人指望我们这么做。但所有人都期待我们取得成功，助力美国实现最大程度的繁荣。”
总部位于圣克拉拉的英伟达是全球市值最高企业，市值突破5万亿美元，依托人工智能热潮实现了业务增长。
不过，近几周，外界对人工智能研发速度的担忧持续升温，部分人士呼吁设置约束机制与政府监管。
这场讨论的导火索之一是人工智能巨头Anthropic研究员Jacob Coxon。他于本月早些时候公开辞职，称人工智能企业一味急于创新，舍弃了完备的安全规范。Coxon表示，如果不加以干预，人工智能未来可能对人类构成威胁。而特朗普政府迄今为止总体上并不认同这类担忧。
数日后，Anthropic首席执行官达里奥・阿莫代伊似乎认同Coxon的部分顾虑。他在接受采访时坦言：“长期以来，行业在这项技术存在风险这件事上一直在欺骗大众”，并称该技术正以“指数级”速度发展。
阿莫代伊称：“这不代表我们现在就要恐慌，也不代表我们需要关停全部相关研发。”但他补充道，这是“警示信号，我们需要放慢脚步。”
