凤凰网科技讯 9月20日，据第一财经消息，东风汽车智能化技术首席总工程师张振林表示，东风人形机器人将于今年10月进入工厂，主要面向生产制造领域，进行分拣、质检等工作。今年年底，东风人形机器人将进行小批量、小点位试制，计划在明年年底能力与真人持平。
张振林还透露，公司自主研发的机器狗将比人形机器人更快投入4S店导购等场景。他认为，车企研发具身智能产品能够与汽车大模型等多个领域进行复用，加速商业化量产效率。同时，未来具身智能产品的形态也不仅限于人形机器人或机器狗，汽车也将是具身智能产品的一种形态。
据官方介绍，东风人形机器人“小东”与四足机器人“元仔”已在今年8月举行的2026世界机器人大会上亮相。“小东”专门瞄准汽车制造物料分拣场景开展持续验证，不仅能完成单一重复动作，还在向柔性作业全流程自主任务执行持续进化；“元仔”支持自主导航、多模态感知、智能交互，适配园区巡检、智能服务等多元场景，同样在向自主作业方向升级。
