惠誉预期，获授评的香港券商，尤其是中资券商在港子公司，将在首次公开招股(IPO)活动中占有更多份额，受惠于双重上市和科技相关交易的增长，而这些公司已建立客户关系并具备执行优势。
惠誉相信，中期而言，跨境股票市场的互联互通有望延伸至债券市场，政策旨在发展香港债券市场，将有助多元化受评实体的收入来源。然而，大多数受评香港证券公司规模仍然较小，市场情绪显著转变可能逆转来自中国内地投资者的流动性流向，继而可能影响大多数惠誉所评级的香港证券公司的财务状况。
