Polymarket and Yahoo Finance's partnership has ended.

The agreement, which allowed the financial-news platform to showcase Polymarket's prediction-market data on its site, came to the end of its six-month term this spring, a person familiar with the matter said. The deal's terms ended mutually, the person said.

Polymarket announced the exclusive partnership on X in November 2025. Polymarket continues to be an advertising partner with Yahoo.

Polymarket, one of the leading prediction markets providers, has a data partnership with Dow Jones, the publisher of the Wall Street Journal. Rival Kalshi has partnerships with CNN, CNBC and Fox.

The deals are mostly to provide data on how prediction markets users are trading on the outcomes of different events. News outlets showcase different markets to give their audience a sense of how likely traders think it is that an event will occur.

Many advocates for predication markets see this kind of data sharing as one of the most important services the industry can offer, as the information creates insights that can influence decision making. This contrasts with critics of the industry, who say prediction markets are a form of betting that fuel unhealthy financial behaviors among users.

Both Polymarket and Kalshi have their own newsletters with a combination of news and aligning prediction markets data.
