金吾财讯 | 据外媒报道，应用材料公司（AMAT）在“SEMICON India”芯片大会上宣布，计划在未来十年内向印度投资50亿美元，以全面扩大其在印度的业务布局与供应链生态。应用材料半导体产品集团总裁普拉布·拉贾介绍，该项战略投资将围绕三大核心支柱展开：1）建顶尖研发园区：公司将建设一座占地140英亩的全新先进半导体研究园区，集洁净室设施、工程技术支撑以及与客户、供应商联合研发的能力于一体。2）深耕本土供应链：加速推动印度半导体生态系统建设，目标到2030年代中期（2035年）将印度本土供应链规模提升至目前的10倍，在为本地供应商创造机会的同时吸引全球供应商赴印投资。3）本土人才培养：进一步加大在印度的高端半导体工程技术人才储备与培育。分析人士认为，继美光（MU）等芯片制造巨头布局印度后，应用材料此举标志着全球半导体产业链正在加速向印度延伸。该投资不仅将巩固应用材料的全球研发网络，也或将成为印度打造半导体制造与设计强国战略的关键助力。
