Bilfinger Shares Slide on Guidance Cut, Lack of 2H Improvement

0905 GMT - Bilfinger shares dive after the company cut guidance and launched a restructuring program, with second-half performance falling short of expectations. Analysts at Bernstein had expected business for the German industrial services company to improve in the second half, but now note that it hasn't materialized. "We now see the weakness as cyclical and demand-driven, with limited visibility into FY27," Bernstein says in a note. The restructuring program will help, but not near-term, they say. Shares trade 19% lower at 60.95 euros.
