日元早些时候大幅走低，因为日本央行如期宣布加息，但未能给出未来将进一步提高借贷成本的明确指引，这令希望获得更多线索的交易员感到失望。
纽约梅隆银行高级策略师Geoffrey Yu表示：“市场可能认为日本央行不够鹰派，从而导致美元/日元反弹。投资者将关注官员是否会向市场释放信号，以捍卫近期外汇行动的有效性和公信力”。
日元周五以及本周均是兑美元表现最差的G10货币。
英镑/美元上涨0.2%，至1.3389。
欧元/美元上涨0.1%，至1.1483。
