路透新德里9月17日 - 美国另类资产管理公司布鲁克菲尔德 BAM.N 将向印度ACME Cleantech Ventures投资最高6亿美元，以帮助该公司开发和建设绿色氨及绿色甲醇项目，两家公司周四表示。

此次投资标志着布鲁克菲尔德正式进军该地区的低碳燃料领域，并将通过其“布鲁克菲尔德全球转型基金”（Brookfield Global Transition Fund）投资策略进行。
ACME表示，这笔资金将用于支持其在印度和阿曼的一系列项目，以扩大绿色氨及其他低碳燃料的生产，满足国内及出口市场需求。
ACME已与包括挪威雅苒国际（Yara International）、日本IHI株式会社和三菱瓦斯化学（Mitsubishi Gas Chemical）以及印度买家在内的客户签署了供货协议。
随着各行业寻求化石燃料的替代方案以减少排放并实现脱碳目标，绿色燃料的需求预计将持续增长。
布鲁克菲尔德已在印度可再生能源领域占据相当大的份额，其投资组合包括约50吉瓦的运营中及规划中的风电和太阳能资产。
