ChainCatcher 消息，据 Bitcoin Magazine 披露，知名金融顾问、Edelman Financial Engines 创始人 Ric Edelman 在 Bitcoin Magazine TV 上表示，当前买入比特币如同 1999 年买入亚马逊，并预计这一头部加密货币的价格将在 2030 年前达到至少 50 万美元。
Edelman 称，1999 年人们还在争论是否投资亚马逊，如今已无人争论，人人都持有它，比特币未来也将走上同样的轨迹。他还表示，如果全球所有人将 1% 的资产配置为比特币，对应价格就是 50 万美元，并称自己的预测实际上偏低，最终价格可能超过 50 万美元，时间也可能早于 2030 年。
Edelman 是长期比特币倡导者，他透露 2013 年向金融服务业同行介绍比特币时曾多次被嘘下台，如今传统金融领域多数人至少承认该资产“已经站稳脚跟”。文章还提到，比特币近期价格约为 76522 美元，过去 24 小时上涨 1%，8 月创下多年来最佳表现，但仍远低于 10 月创下的 126080 美元历史高点。
