China Construction Bank Raises 40 Billion Yuan via AT1 Bonds

China Construction Bank (HKG:0939, SHA:601939) raised 40 billion yuan through the issue of second tranche of 2026 undated Additional Tier 1 capital bonds.
The bonds carrying a 1.83% coupon for the first five years, with the rate reset every five years, were issued in China's national interbank bond market, according to a Wednesday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Proceeds will be used to replenish the bank's Additional Tier 1 capital.
