PayPal customers can now use Meta's Muse artificial-intelligence consumer agent to shop and check out, PayPal said Tuesday.
Shares of PayPal advanced 2.6% to $53.95 after the announcement. Meta Platforms stock was up 1% at $748.97.
The PayPal-Meta partnership comes a day after Shopify said customers could use Muse to find products from Shopify merchants and complete purchases through "Shop Pay."
Shopify stock was 7.2% to $147.83 after rising 7.3% on Monday. Meta's Monday gain was more than 11%.
