ChainCatcher 消息，美光与台湾美光记忆体工会于 9 月 18 日举行首次调解会议。美光表示，双方进行具建设性且有助推进沟通的讨论，并同意于 10 月 22 日举行第二次调解会议。
美光指出，双方代表在会中针对多项议题进行讨论，包括整体奖酬与奖金制度架构、禁搭便车（No Free Rider），以及禁止秋后算账（Non-Retaliation）等议题。针对禁止秋后算账，美光重申公司的承诺，依《美光全球团队成员手册》规定，团队成员有权在不必担心遭受报复的情况下，和平集会、自由结社、成立及加入自行选择的工会或劳工组织，并寻求集体协商或其他形式的代表权。
美光表示，双方感谢中部科学园区管理局及调解委员会在本次调解过程中提供协助与支持，后续也将持续秉持相互尊重精神，透过正向、务实的沟通，支持员工、服务客户，并共同促进公司持续成功。
