9月16日，中国船舶集团旗下沪东中华造船（集团）有限公司（简称“沪东中华”）联合中国船舶工业贸易有限公司，与中联航运（CULINES）签署2艘14000TEU大型集装箱船建造合同。
此次签约的船型由沪东中华自主设计，总长335米、型宽51米、型深30.2米，设计航速21节，采用常规动力，兼顾装载能力与营运经济性。船型配备带球扭曲舵、节能导管等高效节能装置，采用机舱风机和海水冷却泵变频技术，以多项节能设计有效提升能源利用效率。
中联航运成立于2005年，是国内近年快速成长的国际集装箱班轮公司。此次订造的2艘14000TEU大型集装箱船，是该公司首批万箱级以上箱船新造订单，也是其运力战略的关键一步。
