UBS (UBS) has reached an agreement with the Dutch Public Prosecution Service to resolve criminal allegations against the collapsed Credit Suisse over inaccurate tax returns filed by Dutch clients, the bank said Tuesday.
UBS took control of Credit Suisse's assets and liabilities after the bank failed in 2023.
Under the terms, UBS will pay 5 million euros ($5.7 million) to settle claims that Credit Suisse facilitated incorrect tax returns by 12 former Dutch customers, UBS said.
