【多家新能源车企回应造大车】小鹏集团CEO何小鹏在回应第一财经关于大车的问题时谈到：“在中国市场，以前大家不爱买大车原因有三：一是因为贵；二是路或停车位不够宽；三是车不好开。但现在后面两个因素正在被解决，自动驾驶技术升级、底盘智能化等能有效的解决这两个问题。”
奕境品牌总经理曾清林在接受包括第一财经在内的媒体采访中坦言，目前新能源汽车市场确实竞争比较激烈，做奕境品牌确实利润不是很高。而奕境首款新车也是“532型”大车。他认为，大车将会是车市的一个发展趋势。
腾势方面表示，今年以来中大型、大型SUV销量爆发，有很大一部分销量来自六座车型。众多车企也投入了多款产品，大车市场显著增长。
蔚来CEO李斌则称，大车具备更高毛利空间，且新能源税收政策未限制车辆做大，车企布局大车是市场化的合理商业选择。
据记者梳理，今年上市的大型车绝大部分在20万元级别，但也有的大型车已经下探至10万元级别，大型车市场竞争愈发激烈。
