Mastercard, Flybits, Rogers Bank Report Advancement in Agentic Commerce Transaction in Canada

Mastercard (MA), Flybits and Rogers Communications' (RCI) Rogers Bank have deployed a "landmark agentic commerce transaction" in Canada, the companies said Monday.
A Flybits-powered AI assistant used Mastercard Agent Pay to identify a product based on instructions and parameters set by a Rogers Red credit card holder, according to the statement.
In future phases of the collaboration, Flybits plans to use Mastercard Insight Tokens to enable AI agents to access and apply permissioned insights, the companies said.
