近日，据外媒Dexerto报道，苹果硬件工程副总裁Tom Marieb在接受TechRadar采访时谈到了iPhone屏幕耐用性，并表示自己看到有人给iPhone贴屏幕保护膜时，会感到“浑身不自在”。
在谈到苹果最新面板2时，Marieb表示，苹果团队一直投入大量精力打造兼顾耐刮擦和耐磨损能力的屏幕，因此当他看到用户在iPhone屏幕上加装保护膜时，会产生一种强烈的不适感。他表示，苹果希望用户能够直接使用经过设计的屏幕，而不是再在屏幕表面覆盖其他材料。
除了直板iPhone外，苹果的耐用性设计也应用于其折叠屏产品iPhone Duo。Marieb表示，苹果花费了大量时间调整折叠屏铰链，希望手机在完全展开、闭合以及半折状态下都能保持稳定的手感，并将合上手机时的触感作为重要的设计目标。
对于折叠屏长期使用后可能出现的折痕问题，Marieb还提到，iPhone Duo的哑光表面能够让铰链区域的变化相比光面屏幕更加不明显，并表示用户可以对此进行长期检验。
目前，苹果方面对iPhone屏幕耐用性的强调，也成为其减少用户依赖屏幕保护膜的一项产品设计方向。
