China's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission is surveying the use of Broadcom's high-end switches in state-owned data centers, the Financial Times reported Wednesday, citing two people familiar with the survey.

The review comes as the country pushes to replace foreign AI infrastructure with domestic ones, as Broadcom's product penetration reaches as high as 90%, according to the FT.

The results could lead to SASAC issuing guidelines to reduce the use of Broadcom switches, according to the report, citing one of the persons.

SASAC and Broadcom did not immediately respond to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
