原油价格连续第四日下跌，势将创下自6月份以来最长连跌纪录，交易员密切关注围绕结束美伊战争的外交努力，以及石油仍能通过霍尔木兹海峡的迹象。
布伦特原油期货跌至每桶101美元附近，而WTI原油期货跌破每桶98美元。美国总统唐纳德·特朗普表示，他“大概”愿意在本周纽约联合国大会期间与伊朗总统马苏德·佩泽希齐扬会面，并可能与海湾国家领导人会晤。
美国中央司令部司令Brad Cooper海军上将称，过去两周，霍尔木兹海峡的原油和液化天然气流量为六个月来的最高点。他在一段视频讲话中说道，该水道的主要航道已清除水雷，波斯湾盟国“在过去几个月里”已通过该水道运输了超过10亿桶原油。
国泰君安期货高级石油分析师Xuyi Zhao表示，市场正从供应状况恶化的时期，过渡到供应紧张最严重时期可能已经过去的阶段。她补充说，尽管如此，布伦特仍可能在100美元附近盘整，因为持续下跌的条件尚未具备。
