European Indexes Led Higher by Banks, Tech

0719 GMT - European stock indexes rise at the open, with banking and technology stocks pushing the Stoxx 600 up 0.4%. London's FTSE 100 is 0.4% higher, boosted by energy-intensive industrials. Software group Sage adds 1.7%. The German DAX climbs 0.4%, led by a 2% jump for software giant SAP. Industrial group Rheinmetall adds 1.8%. The CAC 40 climbs 0.5% higher as luxuries rally. Sector bellwether LVMH climbs 1.3%, while BNP Paribas adds 1.2%. Banks drive Italy's FTSE MIB 0.55% higher, while financials also benefit Spain's IBEX 35, which is up 0.7%. The Dutch AEX is 0.2% higher. Gains for semiconductor giant ASML--up 1%--and peers are weighed by losses for consumer-facing stocks.
