ChainCatcher 消息，近期市场传出，苹果正在开发一款企业级 AI 服务器，可能配备 2 至 4 颗尚未发布的 M8 Ultra 处理器，目标客群包括 AI 开发者、大型企业及政府机构，主要应用于 AI 推理，该边缘数据中心可能采用 NVLink。苹果和 NVIDIA 均未作出回应。
供应链认为，苹果因 Mac 系列被大量用作个人 AI 工作站而进入相关业务，最近一季 Mac 营收增长近 30%。苹果大量采购 NVIDIA 芯片和 Google TPU 用于自家 AI 数据中心，并传出与博通合作开发自研 AI 芯片。高通 Dragonfly 产品线包括边缘 AI 推理整套机柜解决方案。
市场传出小米正布局边缘 AI 机柜路线，此前发表会推出个人化 AI 工作站概念产品 AI Cube，内部同时搭载玄戒 O3、O100、D100 三颗自研芯片。供应链亦传出，先进制程或先进封装方面，台积电扮演要角。
