智通财经APP获悉，摩根大通首次覆盖加拿大铀矿商NexGen Energy(NXE.US)，予“增持”评级，目标价为14美元。该行表示，NexGen股票提供具有吸引力的风险回报，这得益于其旗舰项目Rook I的规模、超高品位和低成本属性。
摩根大通分析师比尔·彼得森表示，NexGen的“投资组合在品位(U3O8含量高于2%)、规模(市场份额超过10%)和所在地区(加拿大)方面表现优异”。他强调，与同行不同，该项目已获得全面许可，并得到资金提供方的大力支持。
彼得森表示，在其覆盖的全球同类项目中，Rook I 拥有最大的产量和最低的综合维持成本。与许多高弹性上游同行相比，NexGen的净现值(NPV)对铀价的敏感度相对较低，这反映出该项目的最低成本属性。他表示：“随着邻近勘探目标被纳入矿山规划，我们看到一条实现数十年矿山寿命的路径。”
尽管建设并非没有风险，但彼得森仍认为，消息面风险更偏长期、估值“并不苛刻”，且项目资产质量优异并具备长期增长选择权，因而形成了有吸引力的风险回报。
截至周一美股收盘，NexGen Energy涨4.81%，报9.80美元。该股今年以来累计上涨6.5%。
