ChainCatcher 消息，韩国央行（BOK）启动首个 24 小时韩元结算网络试点，旨在让外国投资者能够在韩国正常银行营业时间之外结算韩元交易。该央行周一宣布，其国际电汇网络已与 KB 国民银行、友利银行、韩亚银行和新韩银行四家国内银行开始试运行，全面运营预计于 2027 年 1 月启动，届时参与范围将扩大至其他机构及外国银行。
该网络在工作日每天 24 小时运行，周末和公共假日除外。外国投资者可通过韩元业务注册外国机构（RFI-K）账户，在本国营业时间内结算韩元交易，无需直接在韩国金融机构开户。韩国央行表示，预计该网络将通过改善外国投资者获取韩元结算基础设施的渠道，有助于增强韩元的国际地位。
此外，韩国央行还通过国际清算银行牵头的 Agorá 项目试验代币化结算基础设施，该项目已于 7 月使用代币化央行储备和商业银行存款完成真实价值的跨境支付试验，其中包含韩元。韩国央行同时推进 Hangang 项目，这是一个基于区块链的试点，利用批发型央行数字货币结算代币化的商业银行存款。
