Iambic Therapeutics filed for an initial public offering.
The clinical-stage life sciences company plans to trade on Nasdaq under the ticker IAM. It didn't disclose the pricing or amount of shares it plans to offer, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing on Monday.
Iambic integrates large-scale AI with automated chemistry and biology experimentation, which it calls molecular superintelligence. The platform is designed to make drug discovery happen faster and more easily.
The platform learns from lab-generated data. Iambic said the molecular superintelligence model is still unproven, as it hasn't led to an approved drug product yet.
Iambic's most advanced program is IAM1363, an oral small-molecular inhibitor of human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). The company plans to initiate a registrational trial as soon as next year to test the product as a treatment for HER2-altered solid tumors.
Iambic was founded by Tom Miller, who is chief executive, and Fred Manby, who is chief technology officer. Both have a background in academia.
