News Corp Records Over 16 Million Visits on Australian Sites in August

News Corp (ASX:NWS) said Ipsos iris rankings show that about 16.6 million people visited the company's Australian sites in August, widening the gap with its nearest competitor to 2.9 million visitors, according to a Tuesday statement.

The company also saw an average of 143 browser page views per person and more than 83.9 million video views for the month.

In the news category, News Corp Australia was the top publisher in August, reaching an audience of about 12.7 million with an average of 52 minutes spent per person across the company's news sites, it said.

Meanwhile, news.com.au delivered 295 million browser page views in August, and consumers spent an average of 33 minutes per person on the website.
