ChainCatcher 消息，Circle 基金会宣布向联合国开发计划署（UNDP）和世界粮食计划署（WFP）提供两项资助，以探索数字支付和数字金融基础设施在人道援助及发展项目中的应用。Circle 基金会表示，相关计划将研究如何利用数字支付和受监管的支付型稳定币，更快、更透明且更低成本地向受援群体拨付资金。
针对 UNDP，资助将用于建立并运营“数字资产创新池”，帮助各国办事处将此前在叙利亚、海地、危地马拉和冈比亚开展的数字支付试点从单一项目扩大至常规项目执行，并提供监管、运营及受益人保障等支持；该机制不会取代传统银行渠道，而是作为现有支付体系之外的补充选项。针对 WFP，资助将支持其建设稳定币支付所需的治理、风险管理、资金及对账系统和合规工具，并整合当地金融科技及移动支付服务。未来 3 年，WFP 计划测试 2 至 3 条连接其支付系统与当地金融服务商及市场的支付通道，以评估稳定币支付在效率、透明度和韧性方面的表现。
