Paramount Skydance (PSKY) said Monday it extended the deadline for its previously announced offers to buy or exchange certain Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) debt until Oct. 6.

The company said the offers are expected to settle in Q4 and plans to extend the deadline again so settlement occurs around the closing of its proposed acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery.

As of Sept. 25, about 67.33% of the existing notes subject to the cash tender offers and 74.88% of the notes subject to the exchange offers had been tendered, the company said.

The company said the figures are not representative of the final results because it expects to extend the offers again.

Paramount said it also modified the terms of the new notes to align them with the senior secured second-lien notes it plans to offer separately.
