0432 GMT - Asian bond yields are likely to keep rising and peak only in 1Q to 2Q 2027, as markets continue to price further Fed tightening, ANZ Research's Jennifer Kusuma says in a report. Asian rates are resilient but not immune to the bond-market selloff, she adds. Global bond markets remain under pressure, as rising real yields, elevated energy prices and heavy sovereign issuance push Treasury yields to multiyear highs. ANZ continues to favor safe-haven markets including China and Singapore, while Indonesia and the Philippines remain most exposed to external risks in the near term.
