Update: TransUnion Shares Fall After Announcing CFO Transition

TransUnion (TRU) shares fell 5% on Thursday, a day after the company said that Chief Financial Officer Todd Cello will step down after 29 years with the company.

Cello will remain CFO through Dec. 31, and serve as a full-time adviser until March 1 to support the transition.

TransUnion said it has launched a search for its next CFO with an executive search firm.

The company also reaffirmed its Q3 and full-year 2026 guidance for revenue, adjusted EBITDA and adjusted diluted EPS, and said the CFO departure is not expected to affect operations, strategic priorities or capital allocation.
